2008 ACRS Walk for Rice, Saturday, June 21nd, 8am-12:30pm, Seward Park in Seattle – PNWJETAA participates annually in this FREE 2.5-mile run and walk to benefit the Asian Counseling and Referral Service Food Bank. Last year over 800 people participates and collectively raised $130,000 for the Food Bank. Lynn Miyauchi will organize the PNWJETAA team this year, so stay tuned for more details. 2008 Seattle Mariners Salute to Japanese Baseball, August 4th at 7pm vs. Minnesota Twins. PNWJETAA will be organizing a group to attend the Mariners game! The first 20,000 fans get a limited edition Mariners baseball cap in katakana! Details to follow.

2008 US JETAA National Conference, August 22-24, Watertown Hotel, PNWJETAA will be hosting the US National Conference this year over four days, including social activities in the evenings for conference participants. We will need your help! If you are interested in volunteering at the event or to help prepare for the event, please contact Ryan Hart on the Officers page. This is a great chance to experience our organization on a National level, so we hope you take advantage of this opportunity!

PNWJETAA Summer Picnic, September 13, Golden Gardens Park, Seattle. Come join PNWJETAA as we celebrate summer with this family-oriented barbeque and potluck. This will be a great way for us to celebrate our success with the US National Conference. Lots of activities will be planned. Bring your empty stomachs!
